KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — Around 11:15 Wednesday night, Kernersville Police were called to a reported shooting at 1004 Salisbury Street.
After arriving on scene, officers say they found victim John Darnell Richardson III, 43, who had been shot multiple times.
Medical responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
Early investigation reveals this to be an isolated incident, with police saying there is no active threat to public safety.
