The IPL 2024 Final between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad will be played in Chennai on Sunday (May 26). On Saturday (May 25), Rain has started to affect parts of Chennai. A scattered thunderstorm, resulting from the low pressure and Remal Cyclone caused rain in parts of the city, which even affected KKR’s practice. The KKR practice was called off because of the incessant rain in Chennai. The low pressure in the Northern Bay of Bengal has converted to a Severe Low Pressure, and is set to become a Very Severe Low Pressure in the coming twelve hours or so. But will it affect the IPL 2024 Playoffs and the Final on Sunday?But as the Cyclone Remal threatens to gain power and flex its muscle, the question remains whether it will affect the IPL 2024 Final.
IPL 2024 Final: Will Rain play Spoilsport?
At the moment, Chennai does have very little chance of rain on Sunday. Although it rained on Saturday, there are no such immediate threats to the Final. A light rain was predicted on Saturday and that has happened, but on Sunday, we can expect clearer weather.
