LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
A suspect in the murder of a 19-year-old in east Louisville has turned himself in.
A week ago, Louisville Metro police were called to the 3800 block of Riveroaks Circle, near the intersection of Chamberlain Lane and Westport Road for reports of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found Quincy Coleman, 19, of the Shawnee neighborhood, dead in that area.
On Wednesday, LMPD said they suspect Terry Matthews III, 22, is behind the killing. Police said Matthews turned himself in around 5:41 p.m. Wednesday.
Matthews is charged with murder and wanton endangerment in connection to the shooting.
He is being held at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.
