Four-Time WNBA All-Star Brionna Jones Suffers Meniscus Tear

Jones has steadily built a reputation as one of the league’s most reliable post players. After earning Most Improved Player honors in 2021 and Sixth Player of the Year recognition in 2022, she became a consistent All-Star presence. Following seven seasons with the Connecticut Sun, Jones joined the Atlanta Dream ahead of the 2025 campaign, where she averaged 12.8 points and 7.3 rebounds while recording 12 double-doubles. As the WNBA prepares for a new collective bargaining agreement, Jones, like most veteran players, enters the offseason as a free agent.
