The Magic, owners of the No. 18 pick in the NBA draft later this month, are well on their way to figuring out who they will select come draft night.
Orlando, which also owns the No. 47 pick, has held multiple pre-draft workouts with players and will continue to do so leading up to June 26-27.
It’s worth noting that just because a player works out for a team doesn’t mean they’re a target to be drafted. And just because a player doesn’t work out for a certain team doesn’t mean they’re not a target for drafting.
In past years, the Magic have publicly shared some names of who had worked out for the franchise, but that hasn’t happened this draft cycle. Some teams around the league post the names of the players, while others don’t.
Still, information is often shared by the players themselves on social media, through public media interviews or by their agency.
The Sentinel has put together an incomplete list of players who the Magic have hosted for pre-draft workouts based on intel gathered from league sources, social media posts by players and various media reports.
