According to recent reports by NBA analyst Sam Amick of The Athletic, Anthony Edwards, the star player for the Minnesota Timberwolves, is not convinced that Minnesota’s series against the Dallas Mavericks is over despite trailing 0-3. He mentioned that he doesn’t think Dallas can beat them in game four and believes they will make a comeback in the series.

No NBA team has ever won a seven-game series in the playoffs after losing the first three games. Only four teams have managed to take the series to a winner-take-all Game 7, with the most recent being the Boston Celtics last season.

The Timberwolves suffered a disappointing loss in game three against the Mavericks, with a score of 107-116. With this loss, Minnesota is now trailing 3-0 to Dallas. If the Timberwolves lose the next game, their dream of winning the championship will be over, and the Mavericks will advance to the NBA finals. However, Edwards seems very confident about the next game. He mentioned that his team will make history by winning game 4.
In game 3, Edwards made an amazing dunk that surprised fans. Despite the loss, he is still being praised for his performance. Edwards scored 26 points, had nine assists, and nine rebounds in his 43-minute game. Rudy Gobert, the defensive player of the year, only scored 9 points with two assists and six rebounds.
During game 2, Luka Doncic, Dallas’s star player, trash-talked with Rudy Gobert after making a 3-pointer against him.
