Donovan Mitchell led a balanced Cavaliers attack with 28 points, including four three-pointers, as Cleveland had five players score at least 20 points for only the second time in franchise history.
Evan Mobley finished with 24 points, Jaylon Tyson added 23, Darius Garland chipped in 22, and Sam Merrill scored 20 points while setting a Cavaliers franchise record by making at least five three-pointers in four consecutive games.
Minnesota held a slim 65–63 halftime lead, but Cleveland seized control in the third quarter with a 12–0 run over a 2:18 stretch. The surge was highlighted by two three-pointers from Merrill and back-to-back dunks by Mobley.
The game saw 10 lead changes and one tie in the opening quarter before Minnesota surged ahead 47–35. Cleveland closed the gap late in the first half and took full command after halftime to seal the victory.
For Minnesota, Anthony Edwards and Naz Reid led the scoring with 25 points apiece, while Julius Randle added 20. Jarrett Allen finished with 16 points, marking the 11th time this season that all five Cavaliers starters scored in double figures.
