Today Devin Vassell celebrates his 24th birthdays.
Vassell, the 11th overall pick in 2020, has taken on a large roll in the rebuild and with the addition of Victor Wembanyama, the San Antonio Spurs are ready to take it to the next level this season.
Along with Victor Wembanyama, Vassell is one of the “untouchables,” a core member of the youth movement in San Antonio.
Vassell’s stats have improved yearly overall with the addition of minutes to his game. He was 12th overall in voting for Most Improved Player this past season.
Devin played in 68 games last season, a vast improvement from the 38 played the prior year while sidelined with injuries. As with any player, health will be the key in the coming season.
