So, we are now into the final 48 hours of the summer transfer window and it is set to be a very dramatic, busy, and entertaining last couple of days.
Chelsea fans have been on a wild ride all summer this window, and that ride is set to get much wilder in these final couple of days until the window closes on Friday.
The club have a lot of business left to do if they are to even do half of the rumoured deals that they want to do. But nothing yet seems close right now for any deals to happen, outgoings or arrivals, so that would suggest that Friday is going to be madness.
A new striker appears to be the priority move now for Chelsea and most other things have been placed on the backburner.
We’ve heard all summer how Chelsea want to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli, and that one is going down to the wire. But The Blues might now have to turn to alternative options.

According to a report from Sky Sports, as seen above, Chelsea are now looking at alternative targets to fill the striker position as Al-Ahli are understood to be feeling more hopeful of securing a deal for Victor Osimhen.
Ivan Toney was one name who has been mentioned this week as a potential alternative, and you’d suggest that he may well be one to watch in these final two days of the window. But I don’t think the Osimhen stuff is over for Chelsea just yet.
