Right after last season ended, the Blues parted ways with Mauricio Pochettino and appointed new manager Enzo Maresca.
It showed a change in the club’s philosophy as they hired a manager who follows the Pep Guardiola school of thought.
They have signed players like Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Tosin Adarabioyo and others to strengthen their squad while some of the players have left the club for a new start elsewhere.
With just more than three weeks left in the transfer window to shut down, more arrivals and departures are expected at Stamford Bridge as the Blues build their squad to challenge for a top four finish next season.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Armando Broja and David Datro Fofana are heading out of the club in permanent moves.
The transfer expert posted the information on his X account, revealing that both Fofana and Broja are on their way out of the club, hinting that the Blues are making way for a new attacker.
Romano wrote:
“Armando Broja and David Datro Fofana are both expected to leave Chelsea on permanent transfer.
“Broja, not even in the squad tonight.”

The Blues are set to sign Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion after reaching a deal with the Spanish giants.
In order to make way for him, they are set to offload Fofana and Broja and they are currently looking for new clubs for both the strikers.
Chelsea are set to complete the signing of Samu Omorodion
The arrival of Omorodion will move both the strikers down in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and that is why the Blues have realised that it is better to let them leave the club.
Both the strikers failed to make an impact during their time at the club and spent time away on loan.
Even a change of scenery did not bring the best out of them and now Chelsea have decided to cash in on both of them.
