The 6-5, 270 pound prospect ranks 150th nationally in the 2025 class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. Dye is the 14th ranked edge rusher in the entire class and the third-ranked player in the state of Indiana.
Dye is another prospect who is coming off of his official visit to Tennessee. He was in Knoxville last weekend, and now just days later he’s given his pledge to the Volunteers. Dye also took official visits to Ohio State, Purdue, Miami and Michigan. LSU, Penn State, Texas A&M and Florida State were among his other offers.
Considering his size, Dye likely fits as a strongside defensive end once he arrives in Knoxville.
The Volunteers jumped to No. 10 overall with Dye’s commitment. Tennessee is now up to 16 total commitments after a busy couple of weeks on the trail. Dye joins four-star prospect Ethan Utley and three-star prospect Charles House on the 2025 defensive line class.
