Thanks to two Top 100 commitments over the July 4th holiday weekend, the Miami Hurricanes now rank inside the top ten of the 247Sports Team Recruiting Rankings.
On Thursday, UM added four-star safety Hylton Stubbs, who ranks as the No. 99 overall player in the country, according to 247Sports.
One day later, center prospect SJ Alofaituli, who ranks as the No. 55 overall player in the country according to 247Sports, gave his pledge to the Hurricanes.
Miami now ranks No. 8 overall in the country after those two commitments with the Hurricanes claiming the top class in the ACC in this early stage of July.
UM has earned 17 commitments with 12 of those players ranking as four-star recruits. Stubbs and Alofaituli are now the top two rated players committed to the Hurricanes.

Ohio State currently claims the top class in the country with the Buckeyes earning commitments from 22 players, including three 5-star prospects and 15 4-star prospects.
Alabama ranks No. 2 in the 247Sports Recruiting Rankings, followed by No. 3 Georgia, No. 4 Notre Dame, and No. 5 Oregon.
Amongst the ACC teams, Clemson, who checks in at No. 11 nationally, is currently second in the 247Sports Team Recruiting Rankings, followed by No. 21 SMU, No. 23 Georgia Tech, and No. 25 Florida State.
Miami is attempting to sign its third consecutive top ten class—a feat that the Hurricanes have not accomplished during the 247Sports era (which dates back to the 2011 cycle).
Recruiting is the lifeblood of every program that consistently competes for championships. Mario Cristobal once again has Miami on track to sign a top ten class in this 2025 cycle.
