The 29-year-old, who joined the Steelmen in September 2019 from Yeovil, made 125 appearances during his tenure at Fir Park.
On Friday, the Scottish Premiership side confirmed that Mugabi will be leaving following the expiration of his contract.

“We can confirm that Bevis Mugabi will be departing the club,” read a Motherwell statement.
“With 125 appearances for the club, he leaves with everyone’s best wishes for the future. His service to the club is immensely appreciated by everyone. All the best, Bevis.”
