The plan to reshape the home of the Carolina Panthers got a lot more real on Monday.
Last night, the Charlotte City Council approved the massive renovation proposal for Bank of America Stadium by a vote of seven to three. And now, the wheels of the project are set to be put in motion—as the city will invest $650 million into the facelift with work expected to begin in 2026.
