Peter Crouch has been asked to name his top three transfer of the summer transfer window of 2024 this week, and he’s picked out one Chelsea player in there.
Chelsea have been super busy buying, selling, and loaning players out all summer, and it all came to a head last Friday when the club scrambled through a number of late deals.
But arguably, the best deal Chelsea did was one of the quietest deals of all time that literally came from nowhere and got completed in about two days.
It was a great deal and not just for that reason, but also because Chelsea signed a very good player for a reasonable fee, a very good Premier League proven player.
Crouchy knows ball
Crouch has picked Pedro Neto from Wolves to Chelsea as one of his top three summer transfer deals.
As cited on X, Crouch said:
“Pedro Neto from Wolves to Chelsea, I think he’s a top player. I think many in Europe would have signed him and Chelsea have got a top one there along with many others, but I think he’s a top signing.”
Crouchy knows ball and he is spot on here. Neto has to be up there with many peoples best signings of the summer, and I truly believe he is going to make a real difference to this Chelsea team and add in the x-factor that they need in vital moments in games and help them succeed again.
Chelsea’s attack right now to be honest is looking very scary!
