On Thursday, the SEC published its latest availability report for this weekend’s conference matchups.
There were no updates for Alabama from the initial report on Wednesday.
In that report, Alabama listed Wolf linebacker Qua Russaw, linebacker Jeremiah Alexander, and running back Richard Young as probable, and this status remained unchanged on Thursday.
Malachi Moore and Cole Adams were not mentioned in either report, indicating they are likely available to play. Moore had a head injury from the game against Wisconsin, while Adams dealt with an upper-body injury from the South Florida game.
Georgia did see a change from Wednesday to Thursday: receiver Sacovie White was downgraded from questionable to doubtful, having made two catches for 22 yards this season. Starting offensive lineman Tate Ratledge is confirmed out, along with receivers London Humphreys and Roderick Robinson II.
Defensive linemen Mykel Williams and Jordan Hall are still listed as questionable, while Warren Brinson is probable.
No. 4 Alabama (3-0) and No. 1/2 Georgia (3-0) will compete on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CT at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Another availability report will be issued on Friday and Saturday before kickoff. This weekly report is a new SEC requirement for conference games, extending to men’s and women’s basketball and baseball as well.
SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey stated that this policy aims to alleviate outside pressure for participation details and enhance transparency to protect student-athletes and the integrity of competition.
