With that said, it appears Hill will take on a new role with the Saints this upcoming season.
While at OTAs this Tuesday, Hill spoke to the media about his connection with Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak.
Hill told reporters that he’s doing things he’s “never done before” at practice.
“It’s been a lot of fun,” Hill said, via NOLA.com. “It’s weird to say after seven years of doing what I’ve been doing that I’m being asked to do things I’ve never done before. That is exciting to me, and it’s challenging and I love to be challenged like that. I’m grateful for those guys creating unique and fun opportunities for me.”
Kubiak was hired by the Saints this offseason. He reportedly flew out to Utah to meet with Hill and ensure that he’ll be a playmaker in his system.
Hill had 401 rushing yards, 291 receiving yards and six total touchdowns during the 2023 season. We’ll see if he can be even better this fall.
