Rudiger shares his thoughts on Chelsea
In a recent interview on The Inside Scoop Podcast, Rudiger admitted he was in awe of the players the Blues currently have in their squad.
“I always watch their games when ever I can, when I’m not playing myself,” he said.
“They have a hell of a lot of talents. I don’t know how much they have spent, it’s their strategy but the players they have man, wow!
“I think some teams, they wish they can spend this amount of money and these type of players. I’m very happy.”
Chelsea’s transfer policy has been heavily criticised but there are now signs that their heavily focused youth policy could pay off handsomely.
The club have heavily invested in some of the best talents from around the world and have totally revamped the squad in the space of two years.
After two difficult seasons both on and off the pitch there are signs Chelsea might be turning a corner and a positive campaign lies ahead.
The Blues have started the season with four wins from their opening six games and currently sit fourth on 13 points, two points behind early leaders Liverpool.
Enzo Maresca’s men are the top scorers in the league and have certainly surprised many with how well they have started.
The Blues have so much talent and it was only going to be a question of time before things started to click, however, whilst it’s been an impressive start there’s a long way to go and plenty more to find out about this team.
