On the defensive side of the ball, 4-star Noah Carter was one of the most explosive pass-rushers in the entire class. Alabama has a lot of bodies at the Wolf position, but no one with proven production over an extended period of time. It won’t be easy to crack the rotation over veterans like Quandarrius Robinson and Keanu Koht, but Carter will have the opportunity to compete.
3-star defensive lineman Steve Mboumoua out of Quebec and 3-star linebacker QB Reese from Birmingham round out the summer enrollees for Alabama. Both will benefit greatly from some time in the strength and conditioning program, but could be good special teams players in the meantime.
