Besselman has not stepped onto the court since March 2024 after being sidelined by a rare heart condition. While her absence has been deeply felt, she has remained part of the heartbeat of the program — showing up, staying prepared, and supporting her teammates from the sidelines. She may not have logged minutes this season, but her commitment never wavered.

On a night meant to celebrate seniors, Besselman was given her well-deserved recognition inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
